Variant 2 blocks the same close Elevators exit while giving the attack an alternative lineup from Ramp on Vertigo in CS2. It is useful when a teammate occupies the primary setup or the entry needs a slightly different bloom timing. Treat it as a replacement rather than an extra smoke, preserving the spare grenade for Heaven or a post-plant re-smoke.
